I just have to blog about it…seven weeks for a school term are really tiring… and talk about my timetable, I always starts at 8am and ends at 5pm or 6pm, although there are breaks in between, but I have to endure the days of teaching like 5 hrs for 2 consecutive days… plus another 2 days of 6 hrs teaching…. Man that’s torture, I think even in secondary school they don’t teach that long in a day.. I mean I don’t mind teaching that long if I have autonomy to manipulate my class the way I want it, students are smart and independent, but the problem is you have to stick to certain standard of practice, or otherwise it’ll be tagged as negative innovation.. not only that, you have to bear with some wards whom, why that after giving them the coverage of the exams, still they fail horribly… where are the minds and so called “common sense of these people….
Worst part is that after learning the results of our recent evaluation exam, a lot of them failed , and a senior colleague of mine, commented, maybe its my own different accent which contributed to the failure, wahhh, when I heard that, my heart went to my head and I just want to tell her off… such a very rude thing to say, look I passed my IELTS speaking exam and it wasn’t just pass it was quite a high score.. and to think this senior colleague can anyhow say that to me (well she didn’t know that I passed though) still, I clearly believe, its not the lecturers fault, no matter how good and well explained the topics are with this kind of listeners and audience, you will surely get a poor result…
I just feel like its such a rude thing to say…..
Well today, since she started to annoy me , I feel she deserve a piece of my mind, “ITS CALLED AN INTELLECTUAL RESPONSE”.. but I noticed even if you tell her off knowing she is a senior, she always has something to say…but one of my assessment on her are after teaching for so many years in that institution, she still needs to learn a lot things, I always compare these seniors from my former colleague where I used to work, she is the dean of that institution where I teaches, and she is so different when she treats her colleagues, she maybe senior, but she is very gentle, full of substance and she can tell your mistakes without you getting offended…. Hurray for Dean Curato!!
Well, Allah forgive her…she’s just very annoying and according to some of my kasamahan, they have experience the same too….
Anyway, tomorrow is a special day for me, I have a hot date with a hotgirl… must stay happy….
